    Description

    This auction features several items from the trunk of a World War I US private.  The coif is an olive green knitted helmet that shields the head and neck from the cold.  The wrist guards are also knit from green wool.  The white cap is also knit and has a woman's pin attached.  There are several old repairs which are shown in the photos.  Thanks for looking.  And thanks for caring about history.
