    Description

    The Grand Army of the Republic(GAR)  stamp (bright rose) was issued in 1949 to honor the final national encampment of of the Civil War Union veterans.  The United Confederate Veterans (UCV) (gray) stamp was issued in 1951 to commemorate the final reunion of the Civil War Confederate veterans.   These are mint plate blocks of 12 with the USPS number of authenticity and come with attractive display mounts.
